One Day in L.A.

One of the things I love about travel is the unexpected. The abrupt. The random. The sudden realization that your connecting flight just left the mainland U.S.A. and you weren't on it.

One missed flight turned two day layover in L.A.... and long overdue reunion with Rumi, who rescued me from homelessness and airport food to allow me a brief glimpse into her world. A fetching place, it is. I heart L.A.
