When will you let someone into your life? Don't you get lonely? Would you ever get a pet? Where are you from? Aren't you kind of ...old? In this one, we dig in
Thank you SO much to everyone who commented and submitted questions both here and over on Instagram - ya'll sent over 2,000 replies - which is absolutely wild. Should I make a part two? ♡
Hey Y’all, I've been ...a bad YouTuber. Here's a little update on where I've been (hint: in my favorite place) Thanks for being here, hope you’re all having the BEST summer ♡
Sometimes van life is rainbows and butterflies, and sometimes it's ...not 🙃
This one is pretty different from my usual videos...a series of not-so-pretty moments from the road these past couple of months. Ya'll encouraged to me share, so this one is for you! Thanks for being here ♡
Hiii :) This one is more vlog-style ...waking up by the ocean, slow start to the day, and doing my best to keep cozy in my van through all the rain. And, a solar eclipse (ish) ♡ Thanks for being here!
Been roaming the Olympic Peninsula in my van these past few weeks - through rain and shine. Sharing a few things that have been on my mind, and what comes next..
As of January 2024, I’ve been living on the road full-time for five and a half years as a photographer and filmmaker. First in an SUV, and now this van. Here’s a tour of my current tiny home on wheels after four years of living in it full-time, including a complete rebuild of the lower half after a disastrous water leak that destroyed my original build. Lots of changes in this new build that I’m excited to share! Thanks for being here ♡ Maybe one day I'll see you out on that open road. #VanLife
I’ve been using the iPhone 15 Pro Max for the past month and decided to shoot a simple & mostly asmr vlog using only this phone. Because... I’m hoping to travel pretty light in the near future… and super curious to hear what you think of vlogging exclusively on a smartphone?
If you’ve been following along with the last few videos, you’ll know that I found mold and extensive water damage in my van. And it was bad. Like, really bad. Here's what happened..
Hey friends! Excited to share some updates with you, including this 4x4 sprinter van I’ve been calling home while my van gets rebuilt :) Thanks for being here ♡
Despite all the ups and downs, hard days and never-ending indecision...most of the time I just can't get over how stupid beautiful this life can be ♡ Hope you're all doing well out there, much love
Where I sleep, how I find places to sleep and some of the experiences I've had with overnight parking in my five years on the road! Thanks for being here ♡
A simple day spent mostly alone in the woods and a random ramble about creating YouTube videos, feeling behind, and what I’d love to do moving forward. Thanks for being here, ya'll are the best ♡
Creating from chaos; van life chores, camping in the middle of nowhere and a change of plans that landed me and the van in big sky country - Montana. I have to warn you, there are some bad dance moves in this one but I like to think the cute dog footage makes up for it?
It doesn’t take long to lose sight of your dreams. To trade curiosity for routine…this one is a glimpse into the life I left behind. The book that changed everything, and a backpacking trip into the wild ↟
In this video I head back to Washington to spend time with friends, reflect on the real reason why I moved onto the road, and what that looks like now ♡
It’s kind of weird putting your life out there on the internet, but it also feels strange pretending like things are fine when they aren’t…
In this video I open up about what’s really been going the past couple of months, and some of the struggles I’ve been running into out here on the road.
Lately, I’ve been alone. Alone with my thoughts, alone with my fears, just.. alone. This one is a little more vulnerable than the rest. Thanks for being here, I appreciate you ♡
Would you rather have endless freedom but no stability, or a home and stability but limited freedom? It’s a question I ask myself often, and an area where I’m always trying to strike some kind of balance. I found a little bit of both in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Along with some beautiful views and a much needed hot bath. Thanks for being here :)
Hey guys! Here's a little video of van life in the Southwest. Spent a few weeks camped out in Tucson, Sedona and the Superstition Mountains. Feeling happy and at home on the road ♡ Also currently sorting through footage from New Mexico that I can't wait to share...so many beautiful sunsets coming your way! Thanks for being here :)
Sometimes, Van Life sucks. In this video, I break down the top 10 reasons why I sometimes struggle with this lifestyle and things you might consider before moving onto the road full-time.
Lately I’ve been dealing with burnout both creatively and also as a full-time traveller. But all of that changed when I found myself in the landscape of my dreams ♡
Every year for the past four years, I’ve left the Pacific Northwest to chase warmer weather. This year, I considered renting a place for the winter and taking a break from the road. But it's nearly February and I still have no plans to stay in one place. Instead, I think I've fallen in love with the road all over again ♡
Ten years ago, I lived and worked in Italy. In this video, I share a little bit about that former life - and how different it is experiencing Italy now on my own terms. From our base in Cortina d'Ampezzo, we explore Tre Cime di Lavaredo, Lago di Braies and also climb through a network of World War 1 trenches and tunnels built into the side of a mountain. This is my third and final video from the Italian Dolomites - excited to catch you up on everything van life in the next video. Happy New Year Ya'll :)
Back on the road and back to a place I once called home…Big Sur, California. This time, alone. Every time I return here, I’m reminded of the many paths I’ve taken over the years, and also the ones I didn’t choose. In this video, I share a little more about life before the road and take you to some of my favorite places along this beautiful coast. Thanks for being here ♡
Last month, I parked the van and left it behind for three weeks to explore Italy and Switzerland. Here's a glimpse into what it was like traveling with five other creatives through the Swiss Alps and Italian Dolomites - and the struggle to strike a balance between capturing beautiful moments vs being present for them. Thanks for being here ♡
How does one make money on the road?? Last year, I put together a video on how I personally earn income as a full-time nomad and many of you seemed interested in learning about additional ways to work from the road. So, here are 10 different ways to earn income while traveling full-time!
One month ago, I left the van and flew to Europe! This one is more vlog-style than any other video I’ve posted. Packing, flying, crossing borders, navigating covid restrictions, figuring out how to travel with five friends as an extroverted introvert (spoiler: alone time was very necessary) and exploring one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen: the Swiss Alps. Oh, and all the mixed emotions along the way ♡
I recently got the iPhone 13 Pro and have been roaming around the North Cascades in Washington to see what this phone can do. As a minimalist, I love the idea of simplifying my setup and using my phone to vlog. Like they say, the best camera is the one you have with you…
Been living in the Washington wilderness, and starting to question what comes next. Choosing a state to live in and buying land feels like a big, scary commitment. Extended international travel is still up in the air. And leaving the road? That feels like the scariest thing of all. Honestly, I’m not sure what I’m doing..
For the past week, I've been based around Mount Rainier in Washington State. If you've ever wondered what a very normal day looks like in my life as a van-dwelling outdoor adventure photographer, here ya go. Early morning drives into the mountains, sunrise photography shoots, coffee and editing breaks, sunset hikes, and all the other stuff in between. Hope you all are having a beautiful weekend ♡
As of May 2021, I’ve been living on the road full-time for three years as an outdoor adventure & travel photographer. Here’s a tour of my current tiny home on wheels after 14 months in an SUV and two years in a custom built Ram Promaster. My ultimate goal here is to inspire you to step outside your comfort zone by sharing my own personal highs and lows along this (sometimes) wild journey. Thanks for being here!! Maybe one day I'll see you out on that open road. #VanLife
Does it ever get lonely living on the road? Yeah. In this video I talk about the loneliness and solitude that can exist in van life. Also, relationships - and a life update that swings from forests to the sea on the Olympic Peninsula, and into the Cascade Mountains of Washington State. Some rough patches, but also some really beautiful moments and views along the way.
Washington is the last place I called home before moving into my SUV full-time, and it was on these mountain trails and forest roads that I fell in love with living out of my vehicle and backpacking every other night until the rain or snow forced me south to warmer weather. Lately, I’ve been based around Mount Baker. Camping, hiking, and getting lost on mountain trails. If you’ve ever wondered what the Washington backcountry is like, here’s a glimpse into that world.
Woah, has it really been a month already?? I've been out hiking, camping and living the van life...and doing my best to escape wildfire smoke and heat waves. Here’s what summer in Montana has been like, grizzly bears included. Spoiler alert - Montana is ridiculously beautiful.
After two months in a house, I’m back out on the road…which means re-learning how to live full-time in a vehicle. Finding places to park, showers, bathrooms and all the other stuff in between. Thanks for being here :)
How much can you save by living in a vehicle instead of paying rent? In this video, I breakdown my expenses of living in my van vs living in my SUV vs living in my old apartment. Hopefully this financial overview will give you an idea of what costs to expect, and how much you might save by living on the road.
I think it's safe to say I'm in love with Jackson, Wyoming. Even on moody, rainy days - this place is beautiful. I'll be hitting the road again in a week so thought I'd share a chill day in the life here in the Tetons. Thanks for being here, sending you all love xx
May 2018 is when I first moved out of my apartment and into my SUV…wild that it’s already been three years on the road! In this video I share one of my secrets to long-term #vanlife, along with some life updates!
Last month, I attempted something new. A five day water fast in the desert. No food, no coffee. Just water. Why did I do this? Well, there are a lot of health benefits associated with fasting. But even more appealing to me- was the sheer mental challenge of going five days without eating.
Here's an update on where the road has taken me lately. Arizona, California and now...Colorado. Also, some major upgrades for my tiny home on wheels that I'm stoked to share - new 245 K02 tires, a spare tire mount, sumo springs, and an Espar heater so I can keep warm in the winter :) I'll be heading out to Utah and then up to Jackson, Wyoming next so hit subscribe if you've ever wondered what the Grand Tetons look like in spring...hoping for some baby moose!
Hey all, I’ve been camped at the same spot in the desert for 10 days now - finally moving on and further south in this video. Typical day of packing up camp, doing van chores and hitting the road. I also talk about how to get packages, mail and an address while traveling full-time.

What has it really been like living on the road during this pandemic? State shutdowns, covid-19 closures, no showers, fewer places to camp…it’s been weird. Here’s a little update on the past few weeks and what I’ll be doing moving forward this winter. Thanks for being here

Two and a half years ago, I moved out of my apartment in the city and into my SUV. Last summer, I bought a van and hired a team to build my dream tiny home on wheels. This kind of lifestyle is not for everyone - but if you’re considering van life, living in a vehicle, traveling full-time or even simply pursuing a more minimalistic lifestyle…here are ten tips to help you get started.

During the fall and summer months, I abandoned the van overnight in forests and trailhead parking lots to trek off into the Washington backcountry. This episode is all about a girl’s trip with two friends - Chelsea and Renee - overnight camping in the Mount Baker Wilderness. Also, a brief life update :)

In June 2019 I worked alongside some inspiring & talented humans on a campaign with Visit Florida & REI. Here's a video Matador Network put together of our trip. So crazy grateful for a career that is based on getting outside, going on adventures and doing what I love with people I admire! Also featuring Tiffany (IG: @tiffpenguin), Karl (IG: @karl_shakur) & Jack (IG: @jackharding)
In April 2018, I joined Eddie Bauer on a trip to Peru and into the mountains of the High Andes where we immersed ourselves in the Peruvian culture and landscape. Good times with an incredible & talented team.
